Although a small and young company we handled over 10,000 pax in 2007. We could perhaps genuinely claim to be the world leader in online marketing and have the most technically advanced hotel reservation system in the Cuba travel industry.

Cubaism ltd is now wishing to bring in-house its flight and holiday package operation. The chosen candidate will be responsible for starting and operating a new department to do this. To be considered, you must have at least 1 years experience of flight sales and using Amadeus. Although any additional language will be beneficial, we would especially welcome candidates that speak Spanish.

We could perhaps genuinely claim to be the world leader in online marketing and have the most technically advanced hotel reservation system in the Cuba travel industry.

It is a renewable one year contract, and could be ideal for a newly qualified travel & tourism university graduate looking for a serious challenge in a Spanish speaking country for just a year or two.

You would be responsible for managing, operating and developing our Havana branch office. This would include receiving clients, taking and arranging bookings, solving complaints, administration, basic bookkeeping and financial control. It is expected that we will recruit increasing numbers of local Cuban staff and thus the management role would evolve accordingly.

You will need to have an intermediate, or better, level of Spanish, knowledge of the travel industry and proven leaderships qualities and skills. In addition, since Cuba’s living and working environment are exceptionally challenging you will need to be robustly self-assured, self-sustaining and plain smart.
